Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) Commander Major General Mansour Salim Al-Jobour visited Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Monday.
On his arrival at the Air Headquarters (AHQ), the distinguished guest was received by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman. A smartly turned out contingent of the PAF presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
After reviewing the guard of honour, the Jordanian air chief was introduced to the Principle Staff Officers of the PAF. Later on, he called on Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman in his office. Both remained together for some time and discussed matters of professional and mutual interest. The delegation also attended a briefing at Air Headquarters on the organisation, role and functioning of the PAF.
The Royal Jordanian Air Force delegation is on a four-day visit to Pakistan on the invitation of the Pakistan Air Force. The delegation will visit various PAF bases and installations.
PAF No. 19 Squadron was re-equipped with Ex-RJAF F-16 ADFs in the recent past. Both Air Forces have long history of collaboration over the years. The new meeting will further cement Pakistan-Egypt relationship.
